If your organization or public body needs hosting in Germany with ISO certificates, wants to choose its hosting provider or run the software on its own infrastructure, Conceptboard is the better choice. The same goes for general team whiteboards where you plan tasks and bring in Jira tickets.

Conceptboard can also suit you on your own: Starter costs €5 per user per month plus VAT, guests without an account can edit on PRO boards, and a video call is built in. If you don't need coaching cards or client management, that is enough.

For coaching sessions, yes. Like Miro, Conceptboard is a general online whiteboard for teams: ideas, tasks and projects on infinite boards. metaFox.online is built for coaching: you go through a session board by board, picture cards, values cards and a constellation board are built in, and you manage your clients and their session history in the same place.

Do my clients need an account?

Not with either tool. In Conceptboard, your client opens the link, enters as a guest and types a name; they can edit on PRO boards, but only with limited rights on free boards. In metaFox.online, a link is all it takes, with no account and nothing to install.

What does Conceptboard cost compared with metaFox.online?

Where is the data stored?

With both, in Germany. Conceptboard says it processes all data only on servers in Germany, is certified to ISO 27001, 27017 and 27018, and offers other hosting providers from Advanced and on-premises in custom plans. metaFox.online runs in data centers in Frankfurt (Germany), and video calls run through LiveKit's EU region in Frankfurt; details are in our privacy policy.

Can I take my boards from Conceptboard with me?

As images, yes. In Conceptboard, you export a board as a PDF or PNG. In metaFox.online, you upload the PNG to a board and keep working on it, or you rebuild the session with cards and figures.
